“The storm has arrived, are you prepared?” – Farhan Akhtar simply dropped the trailer of his a lot awaited film Toofaan and oh boy, it’s mind-blowing. The Toofaan trailer introduces us to the intriguing plot of the film – it’s the story of a road fighter from the town of Dongri, Aziz Ali, who turns into a celebrated boxer – a personality performed by Farhan Akhtar. The rise and fall and the triumphant return of Aziz Ali to the boxing ring kinds the story arcs in Toofaan. The trailer begins with a glimpse of Aziz Ali as a banned boxer, dwelling a lifetime of shame. Mrunal Thakur, the love of his life, who he’s now married to, reminds him that his five-year ban is over and now he can return to reclaim his title “Toofaan,” that means a storm.
The Toofaan then rapidly switches to flashback mode and shares glimpses of what led Aziz Ali to guide a lifetime of seclusion. Aziz Ali, as soon as a feared goon for his mood and combating abilities, fell in love with a health care provider named Pooja Shah, performed by Mrunal Thakur. Pooja gave him two choices – a lifetime of respect by turning into a boxer or proceed to being “Ajju, the gangster.” Aziz Ali picked the primary and was educated by the perfect – boxing coach Nana Prabhu, performed by Paresh Rawal.
